By submitting a report, you acknowledge that your submission constitutes a legal notice and that the information provided may be shared with the alleged infringer and relevant third parties as required by law.
7. Liability for False Claims
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed or disabled by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. EPIC GAMES DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, EPIC GAMES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Epic Games, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Platform or your violation of these Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Wake County, North Carolina.
12. Changes to Terms
Epic Games reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
